Medical Capabilites

Eagle Air Med medical crews receive extensive training in flight physiology, airway management and emergency procedures. Their dedication and expertise allow us to deliver a top-quality transport experience to our patients.

Delivering exceptional medical care. Medical crewmember qualifications/certifications:

  • Minimum of three years recent and applicable experience
  • ALS, BLS and Critical Care Life Support
  • ACLS, PALS and Advanced Trauma Certifications
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certifications
  • Employees maintain extensive critical care, ER and/or ICU experience
  • Monthly flight reviews, quarterly continuing education programs and annual recurrent training
Aviation/Pilot Capabilities

No pilot is permitted to act as “pilot in command” until first passing a flight check by a certified FAA check airman, and completing aircraft specific factory schooling. In addition, factory-trained pilots receive annual training and quarterly quality-assurance checks, and must pass a detailed physical examination.

Safety is our priority. Our pilots are:

  • FAA approved through FAA check rides
  • Certified by the U.S. Department of Transportation as medically fit
  • Trained to factory standards in specific aircraft type and model annually
  • Instrument, commercial, and multi-engine rated
  • Trained in all meteorological conditions and high proficiency
